Challenge #62 reminder and a little inspiration

Good morning sketchies,

It is Naomi here with an inspiration post for you today. As this is our first in between week for the new fortnightly format there will be no top picks but I do have a couple of projects to share with you. Both projects are using images from Lacy Sunshine. The first one is a card using the current sketch and the second one is a tag inspired by the movie The Great Gatsby.

For this card I have used Eleanor Hippie Chick and coloured her with my copic markers. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye "Indie Chick - Saffron" 6x6 paper pad and I matched that with Rose Red and More Mustard Stampin'Up cardstock. The paper flowers are from my stash and the flower ribbon is a cool product I picked up at my last visit to Paper Squared in Mornington, it is self adhesive which makes it so simple to apply. I added some small rhinestones to her hair and stickles to her glasses for some sparkle.

This next project was definitely inspired by two things, Heather's gorgeous Gatsby images and also the movie itself The Great Gatsby.

I have made a tag using Lady Maddie Gatsby with a vintage look, which is something I really love doing and have decided to start doing more of again.

I did experiment a little with embossing powders and utee for this project. I wanted to replicate the look of fran-tage so I mixed some rose gold embossing powder with utee and tried that. I am really happy with the end result and will definitely be trying some other mixes to see what I can come up with.
